Patterned Webbing vs. Jacquard Webbing – What’s the Difference?

Patterned webbing typically involves printing or heat transfer techniques on the webbing surface, while jacquard webbing integrates the pattern directly into the weave. Each offers unique benefits in durability, aesthetics, and branding application.

Applications of Jacquard Webbing

Explore use cases—from fashion accessories to industrial harnesses—where precision weaving delivers durability and elevates your brand presence.

Our Custom Jacquard Webbing Production Process

A streamlined workflow guides your project from initial inquiry and design through sample approval, mass weaving, rigorous quality testing, and custom packaging. At each stage—consultation, digital proofing, order confirmation, sample weaving and adjustment, bulk production, inspection, and shipping—we leverage 18+ years of jacquard expertise to ensure your webbing meets exact specifications, maintains consistent quality, and arrives on time.

Step 1:

Inquiry & Consultation

Share your project vision, including application requirements, desired materials, and artwork files. Our technical team will assess feasibility, recommend optimal fiber types and weave styles, and outline preliminary cost and lead-time estimates—all within 1–2 business days.

Step 2:

Design & Digital Proof

We convert your logo or pattern into a jacquard weave file, calibrating color separations and pattern repeats. Within 2–3 days, you receive a full-color mock-up that accurately represents the final look, enabling you to verify brand colors and layout before physical sampling.

Step 3:

Order Confirmation & Deposit

After you approve the digital proof, we finalize specifications—material blend, width, thickness, and edge finish—along with pricing and delivery schedule. A deposit secures your production slot, ensuring timely commencement of sample weaving.

Step 4:

Sample Weaving

Our jacquard looms produce a physical sample exactly to your approved specs. In 5–7 days, you receive a real-world swatch to evaluate hand-feel, color fidelity, and pattern precision, helping you confirm every detail before mass production.

Step 5:

Sample Review & Adjustment

You test the sample in your application and provide feedback. If needed, we fine-tune yarn selection, weave density, or edge treatment in 2–3 days to perfect performance characteristics and aesthetic accuracy.

Step 6:

Mass Weaving

With your sign-off, we ramp up to bulk production, running continuous in-line monitoring to maintain uniform tension and color consistency. Over 10–14 days, we produce the full order while adhering strictly to the approved sample parameters.

Step 7:

Quality Inspection & Testing

Completed webbing undergoes thorough testing—tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and colorfastness—followed by 100% final QC inspection. This 2–3 day phase ensures every meter meets international standards and your brand’s quality expectations.

Step 8:

Packaging & Global Shipping

We wind your custom webbing onto branded spools or reels, apply private-label tags and batch codes for traceability, then arrange secure air or sea freight. In 3–5 days, your order is dispatched with full documentation for seamless delivery to your facility.

Everything You Need to Know About Our Jacquard Webbing

From fiber selection and weaving techniques to customization, quality assurance, and care—get all the insights on our premium jacquard webbing.

What is jacquard webbing?

Jacquard webbing is a woven strap where intricate patterns, logos or text are woven directly into the fabric using a jacquard loom. This technique allows for high-resolution, multicolor designs that won’t peel or fade, making it ideal for branding on straps, belts, lanyards and more.

We offer jacquard weaving in nylon, polyester, cotton or custom blends. Each fiber brings specific benefits—nylon for strength and resiliency, polyester for UV and moisture resistance, cotton for soft hand-feel—and can be blended for tailored performance (e.g. anti-microbial, flame-retardant).

Our jacquard looms support up to 16 distinct colors per design, capturing fine gradients, small text and photo-quality images. For very detailed logos or tiny icons, we recommend our high-density fine weave option to ensure crisp edge definition.

We can weave jacquard webbing from 10 mm up to 100 mm in width. Thickness is also customizable (0.8 mm–3 mm) to suit everything from slender lanyards to robust belt straps.

Our low MOQ starts at just 100 meters per design, enabling small brands and startups to order custom jacquard webbing without large upfront commitments. Bulk orders can scale to tens of thousands of meters with volume discounts.
